Ms. Eliason is Of Counsel in the Massachusetts office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. Her practice primarily focuses on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, rentals and financings of real property. In this capacity, she provides counsel relative to residential, industrial, commercial and retail projects. Specifically, Ms. Eliason advises clients regarding: (1) site control, acquisition and development; (2) title issues; (3) financing and loan documentation; (4) site development documentation, including utilities, deed restrictions and ownership organization; (5) lot sales; (6) affordable housing projects, including advice regarding regulatory agreements, deeds, deed riders, monitoring services agreements, affordable housing restrictions and rental agreements; (7) chapter land acquisitions (MGL 61, 61A, 61B); and (8) negotiation and drafting of all forms of leases, including ground, residential, industrial, retail and commercial. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Eliason was a principal with a Massachusetts law firm and held several positions in state and local government. She has advised clients relative to the acquisition, disposition and management of their real property and was responsible for numerous, complex transactions throughout the Commonwealth. As an attorney for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Ms. Eliason advised state agencies on real property and construction projects and served as lead counsel responsible for the acquisitions of new campuses for higher education institutions. Ms. Eliason began her career as a Law Clerk for the Massachusetts Superior Court. Representative Matters
