Suzanne Piluso is an Associate in the San Francisco office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., with a general litigation, regulatory, and environmental practice. Ms. Piluso received her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she was a member of the Journal of Environmental Law & Litigation.
While attending law school, Ms. Piluso externed for the Honorable Judge Ann Aiken of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, and worked as a student clinician in the University of Oregon’s Environmental & Natural Resources Law Clinic. She was also a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing, and a Research Assistant in water law specializing in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s hydropower relicensing procedures. During her second-year summer Ms. Piluso clerked for the Trial Division of the Oregon Department of Justice. Upon graduation Ms. Piluso was awarded certificates of completion noting specializations in environmental law and ocean and coastal law.
Prior to law school, Ms. Piluso received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Willamette University (B.S., 1999). During her undergraduate career Ms. Piluso studied Biodiversity and Conservation in Iringa, Tanzania. Between receiving her undergraduate degree and starting law school, Ms. Piluso was a Senior Program Coordinator for five years for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
