Linda Tsang is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C.  Her practice is focused in environmental regulatory and compliance counseling.  Since joining Beveridge & Diamond, Ms. Tsang has counseled clients on a range of environmental laws, including the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and other federal and state environmental statutes.  She has advised clients on the development and impact of federal and state climate change legislation, litigation, and regulations.

Ms. Tsang’s experience also includes advising multinational corporations and trade associations on state, national, and international product stewardship laws that affect producer responsibility and the international movement of end-of-life equipment.

Before joining Beveridge & Diamond, Ms. Tsang clerked for the Honorable Fernande R.V. Duffly of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.  She received her law degree from Vermont Law School (J.D., magna cum laude).  While attending law school, Ms. Tsang was a recipient of the Lingnan Foundation Fellowship to work collaboratively with the Sun Yat-sen University School of Law in Guangzhou, China on the Chinese environmental laws, enforcement, litigation, and regulatory reform.

Prior to law school, Ms. Tsang was an environmental engineer at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, New England Region 1 where she was awarded the EPA Bronze Medal, the highest regional award for outstanding work in drinking water protection.  Prior to the EPA, she was a project manager for Environmental Defense Fund, engaging leading companies from a variety of industry sectors, including the pharmaceutical, electronics, food services and the consumer products industries, in corporate partnerships to improve environmental performance through product, packaging, and process innovations.  Ms. Tsang earned her undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  She is a Senior Fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program.

Ms. Tsang is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
