Lauren Hopkins is an Associate in the Washington, DC office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. with a general environmental, litigation, and regulatory practice. Lauren’s practice focuses primarily on global product stewardship, emerging climate change initiatives, environmental due diligence, and green building. Lauren received her legal degree (J.D., magna cum laude) in 2008 from Vermont Law School, where she was an editor for the Vermont Law Review and a Student Ambassador. While attending law school, Lauren interned with the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources. She also earned a Master of Environmental Management in 2008 from Yale University, School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, with a concentration in economics, policy, and law. At Yale, Lauren wrote her master’s project on Kyoto Protocol implementation in Russia and participated in clinical projects with Natural Resources Defense Council, Environmental Protection Agency, Defenders of Wildlife, and Connecticut Farmland Trust. Lauren received her undergraduate degree in philosophy from the College of Charleston in 2002. She is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar, practicing pursuant to D.C. App. Rule 49(c)(8), and supervised by Principals of the Firm.
