Angie Colamaria (formerly Farleigh) is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C.  She maintains a general environmental practice, focused on regulatory compliance, counseling, and international law.

Ms. Colamaria counsels multinational corporations and major trade associations on matters involving state, national, and international laws and agreements affecting product design and recycling, producer responsibility, and the international movement of end-of-life equipment.

In addition, Ms. Colamaria represents private parties with regard to
compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  She has advised prospective developers of a major entertainment facility in navigating the environmental review process under NEPA.  Ms. Colamaria also represents various businesses, trade associations, and municipalities involving matters under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA, and other federal environmental laws, as well as similar state programs.

Ms. Colamaria received her legal degree from the American University, Washington College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2003) and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (B.S., 1997) with concentrations in Environmental Policy and Resource, Ecology and Management.

While attending American University, Ms. Colamaria clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance. She was also a member of the American University Law Review and the Environmental Law Society. Prior to law school, Ms. Colamaria was an advocate for the Public Interest Research Group, a nonprofit consumer and environmental advocacy organization.

Ms. Colamaria is a member of the Maryland State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
