Dacie works with clients nationwide across industrial sectors on environmental litigation and regulatory matters.

Dacie clerked at the Special Litigation and Projects Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, Office of Civil Enforcement, providing support on Audit Policy enforcement, the Energy Extraction Initiative, and multimedia civil enforcement actions. In this role, she drafted consent decree sections pertaining to Clean Air Act violations, made recommendations for New Owner Audit Policy cases, and wrote memos on unconventional oil and gas policies with regard to water and air pollution at national and state levels.

During her time at Duke University, Dacie served as research assistant to the Director of the Climate & Energy Program at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, researching issues of statutory interpretation related to the Clean Power Plan and Clean Air Act. Dacie also participated in Duke’s Environmental Law and Policy Clinic, where she presented public comments on the proposed reclassification of the Cape Fear River and researched the conflict between local- and state-level fracking rules. Also while at Duke, Dacie received the Outstanding Achievement in Environmental Law Award and served as Symposium Editor of Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum, and President of the Environmental Law Society.
