Pete Anderson Authors Article on Compliance Programs in Compliance & Ethics Professional

Pete Anderson, a Principal in Beveridge & Diamond’s Washington, DC office and leader of the firm’s White Collar and Environmental Crimes practice group, authored an article in the May 2017 issue of Compliance & Ethics Professional, a publication of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, titled “The Prosecutor's Evolving Playbook: DOJ's Rising Expectations for Compliance Programs.”

Mr. Anderson analyzes the Trump Administration's new policy guidelines on corporate compliance programs. He notes that the truest measure of a company’s commitment to compliance is what it chooses to prioritize before an investigation begins, and suggests self-governance measures to prevent, detect, respond to, and remediate enforcement actions.
