James M. Auslander, an Associate in Beveridge & Diamond's Washington, DC office will be a panelist at ARTBA's annual Transportation Construction Law and Regulatory Forum.  Jamie will discuss environmental compliance and will be joined by Beveridge & Diamond alumnus James T. Esselman of the Federal Highway Administration.

The 2-day program will offer panel sessions on such topics as risk management, insurance coverage and alternative project delivery, environmental regulations and compliance, DBE compliance, public-private partnerships, and more.

Fred Wagner, Chief Counsel of the Federal Highway Administration and Beveridge & Diamond alumus will give the keynote address on Wednesday, October 24.  He will discuss the recently-passed legislation, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21), which seeks to streamline the approval of highway projects through important new NEPA categorical exclusions and permitting time limitations.   

Parker Moore, a Principal in the Firm's Washington, DC office, along with Jamie Auslander, sits on ARTBA’s Transportation Law Committee. Both attorneys have been involved in the planning of this forum that covers the latest trends in transportation construction law and regulatory requirements.
