Russ LaMotte will speak at this Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry-sponsored workshop on Monday, Januray 28, 2008. He will give a brief overview of POPs Agreements (LRTAP POPs Protocol and Stockholm POPs Convention); discuss the criteria and process for adding new substances (LRTAP POPs Protocol and Stockholm POPs Convention); and discuss the key questions and issues (the role of risk evaluation and precaution, and the role of screening criteria)
