American Geophysical Union Annual MeetingDecember 16, 2008 K. Russell LaMotte was invited to give a paper at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union, the premier scientific society for geoscientists, on the leading-edge issue of how the international community might consider regulation of geoengineering as a tool to mitigate global climate change. He and his co-author, Dr. Margaret Leinen of Climos (for which the firm serves as outside environmental counsel), presented on December 16 in San Francisco.
