This rulemaking makes changes to 30 TAC Chapter 101 (General Air Quality Rules) to revise certain definitions and update cross-references to 30 TAC Chapter 117 (Control of Air Pollution from Nitrogen Compounds). Waste Rules Adoptions RCRA Rule Clusters XI, XII, XIII and XV
This rule change adopts certain changes to 30 TAC Chapter 305 (Consolidated Permits) and 30 TAC Chapter 335 (Industrial Solid Waste and Municipal Hazardous Waste) to incorporate federal requirements necessary for Texas to maintain its RCRA authorization. Among other things, it amends hazardous air pollutant standards for combustors and permitting standards for corrective action management units. This rulemaking proposes certain changes necessary to maintain primacy over public water systems in Texas. Among other things, this rulemaking would ensure consistency with EPA’s Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule, the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and the Ground Water Rule.
