DC District Court Upholds Tiered EIS for Cincinnati Area Corridor Project

This article summarizes the successful defense of a "tiered" environmental impact statement for a comprehensive multi-modal transportation project in and around the Cincinnati suburbs. Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. assisted the State of Ohio and coordinated with FHWA and the U.S. Department of Justice to obtain summary judgment in favor of the government.
In the same edition, the Chair of TRB's Committee on Environmental Issues in Transportation Law highlighted Fred Wagner's efforts with the Transportation Research Board's Task Force on Climate Change. Climate change will be the “spotlight topic” for the TRB 2009 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
