Biography

Allix is a paralegal in the Seattle office who primarily focuses on litigation.

Prior to entering the private sector, she was an intern for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and a judicial extern in Pierce County Superior Court in Washington. After joining the private sector, she gained significant experience in state and federal court, working in the areas of insurance defense, maritime, personal injury, toxic tort, and employment litigation. Immediately before joining the firm in February 2019, Allix was working as an ADR Coordinator, spending most of her time managing complex corporate and commercial matters in mediation and arbitration, including drafting orders and settlement recommendations.

Since joining the firm, Allix has specialized in case management for matters in, and approaching, litigation. She reviews records and identifies potential claims or defenses and expert witnesses, manages discovery, assists with preparation for depositions, and drafts pleadings. Allix also works on large, multi-party CERCLA matters, assisting with the review of discovery materials to identify pertinent documents. Allix brings experience and expertise in legal and factual research, cite-checking, contract analysis, motions practice, trial support and all aspects of case management.
