Biography

Angela is the Chief Paralegal for the Environmental Justice Practice Group, monitoring news updates daily on environmental justice issues nationwide. She provides updates to clients focusing on Biden Administration actions that will affect the industry, as well as tracking legislative and regulatory updates related to Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at the state and federal level. Additionally, Angela provides support on international legal issues and to the Marketing team. Previously, her paralegal practice was focused entirely on the Volkswagen Emissions Compliance Matter. Prior to joining B&D, Angela served as a Legislative Intern in the U.S. Senate and in the Parliament of Canada, where she attended hearings and legislative briefings. She also has experience researching genetically modified organisms for upcoming legislative proposals.

With near-native fluency in German, Angela additionally has worked as a Language and Marketing Assistant for the Waldsee German Language Village in Minnesota. In this capacity, she lead language instruction sessions, created evening programming, coordinated photography and photo sharing projects alongside social media and blog postings, and designed and implemented a year-round marketing strategy for the Village.
