Jeanine Grachuk Speaking at AWMA Annual Conference

B&D's Jeanine Grachuk (Principal, Boston) will speak during Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA)'s Virtual 113th Annual Conference & Exhibition (ACE 2020). ACE 2020 is a place for scientists, practitioners, and companies from around the world to share ideas, learn new information, and develop solutions for current and future environmental issues.

Jeanine will join the panel session "Site Investigation, Legal, Analytical, Toxicological and Product Stewardship Challenges Posed by PFAS," which will be available on-demand during the virtual conference. The session will provide a comprehensive overview of the various technical and legal considerations involving PFAS, current regulatory trends, and solutions to help site investigators/owners advance their project objectives. The panelists will consider the following topics:

  • Current regulatory climate
  • Human and ecological toxicity
  • Product stewardship and “green” product claims
  • Analytical challenges
  • Legal considerations

The session will be beneficial to attendees who face or manage potential legal liabilities associated with PFAS discharges/releases, manufacturers of PFAS-based products, and investigatory personnel – both private and public.
