Beveridge & Diamond Celebrates 15 Years in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts office of top-ranked national environmental law firm Beveridge & Diamond celebrated its 15th anniversary on December 4, 2019. The office opened in Wellesley as the firm’s sixth office, before relocating to its current downtown Boston address in 2018.

B&D’s Boston office now consists of nine lawyers all of whom dedicate their practice to environmental and land use issues, including environmental compliance, auditing, and due diligence; defense of citizen suits and enforcement actions before U.S. EPA and MassDEP; solid waste management; energy project development; Title 5 air permitting; zoning and land use permitting and litigation; chemical regulatory issues; and climate change.

Recent examples of the Boston office’s work include successfully trying a six-week jury trial in Federal court in Boston that was later upheld on appeal to the First Circuit, managing the environmental aspects of major transactions and mergers for Fortune 500 companies, obtaining scores of permits for businesses in the Boston metropolitan area, and providing worldwide environmental monitoring of the consent decree for the largest environmental enforcement matter in the country.

“I’m incredibly proud of the office we have built and the work that we do for clients in Boston and around the country,” said Marc Goldstein, Managing Principal of the Boston office. “We have a vibrant, fun, and intellectually challenging environment that integrates seamlessly with our other offices. We look forward to the next 15 years and beyond.”
