B&D Hosting KCBA's 2018 Half-Day CLE

Beveridge & Diamond will host the King County Bar Association Environmental & Land Use Section's Annual Half-Day CLE, taking place in our Seattle, WA, office on April 19 from 11:30am to 6:00pm (PDT). The CLE event will address environmental litigation and policy updates, as well as current issues in Washington. Specific topics include trees and urban growth, water rights, the Clean Water Act and northwest aquaculture, air space and environmental liability mitigation, and the Culverts Case.

Associate Erika Spanton (Seattle) will present a session during the event titled "Getting Pacific Northwest Aquaculture Out of Deep Water - Clean Water Act Legal Challenges and Liability Reduction Strategies," which will take place from 1:55pm to 2:45pm (PDT). The session will take a closer look at the current Clean Water Act legal challenges, discuss the outlook for finfish and shellfish growers in the Pacific Northwest, and map out strategies for reducing liability to ensure aquaculture remains a robust—yet responsible—Pacific Northwest industry.

CLE credit will be available in some jurisdictions.
