Principal Dave Weber (Seattle) will speak at the Air and Waste Management Association Puget Sound Chapter's Pacific Northwest Climate Change Technical Workshop, taking place in Seattle, WA, on May 22 from 9:00am to 5:00pm (PDT). The workshop will provide a brief overview of the anticipated Pacific Northwest climate change impacts, information on adaptation strategies, and a discussion of recent and upcoming climate change regulatory measures in the region, as well as create a neutral forum to provide valuable technical content to professionals who are involved in the development and implementation of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies.
Dave's presentation will discuss the latest carbon reduction developments in Washington State, including legislative efforts to pass a cap-and-trade bill or carbon tax and what these measures mean for stakeholders and industry.
