John Cruden Speaking at ALI CLE's Environmental Litigation Course

Beveridge & Diamond Principal John Cruden (Washington, DC) will be speaking at the American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education (ALI CLE)'s Environmental Litigation 2018 course, taking place June 21-22 in Washington, DC. This program will allow attendees to learn litigation strategies from experienced practitioners and judges and gain a deeper understanding of the relationship among litigation problems, substantive environmental law, and science. 

John will speak on Thursday, June 21 at 11:45 a.m. on "Litigating Emerging Groundwater Contaminants," focusing on topics such as toxic torts, CERCLA, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and RCRA, and again at 1:30 p.m. on "Litigation in the New Era," focusing on topics such as state-initiated litigation, new state-federal enforcement alignment, collisions with the federal approach, and resurgence of citizen suit litigation.

The program will also be available via webcast and will offer CLE credit in some jurisdictions.
