John Cruden Speaking at ALI CLE Course on Environmental Litigation

Beveridge & Diamond Principal John Cruden (Washington, DC) will speak at the American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education (ALI CLE)'s Environmental Litigation 2018 course, taking place June 21-22 in Washington, DC. This program will allow attendees to learn litigation strategies from experienced practitioners and judges and gain a deeper understanding of the relationship among litigation problems, substantive environmental law, and science. 

John will speak in a presentation titled "Litigating Emerging Groundwater Contaminants," which will take place from 11:45am to 12:45pm (EDT) on June 21. The presentation will focus on topics such as toxic torts; the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; the Safe Drinking Water Act; and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.

John will also speak in a presentation titled "Litigation in the New Era," which will take place from 1:45pm to 2:45pm (EDT) that same day. This presentation will focus on topics such as state-initiated litigation, new state-federal enforcement alignment, collisions with the federal approach, and the resurgence of citizen suit litigation.

CLE credit will be available in some jurisdictions.
