Women in the Judiciary: Judicial Review of Environmental Cases

In celebration of Women's History Month, Beveridge & Diamond's Women's Initiative will host a panel discussion, Women in the Judiciary: Judicial Review of Environmental Cases, followed by a cocktail reception. 

The discussion—featuring Justice Mary Yu from the Washington Supreme Court, Judge Beth M. Andrus, an appellate judge with Division One of the Washington State Court of Appeals, Judge Judith Ramseyer from the King County Superior Court, and Judge Carolina Sun-Widrow of the Pollution Control and Shorelines Hearings Board—will center around how the judiciary reviews and decides environmental and land use cases, and will highlight challenges the panelists have faced as women in the judiciary.  Tracy Williams, an Associate in our Seattle office will moderate the discussion.
