With a background in environmental science, Jalyn approaches legal issues through a data-driven, technical lens.

Her prior experience includes the research and development of rapid detection testing methods to determine the presence of heavy metals, such as As, Cd, and Pb, in agricultural applications. During her undergraduate program, she studied methods for optimizing phytoremediation of heavy-metal-contaminated soil through genetic engineering.

Jalyn brings her comprehensive understanding of the world’s intricate ecosystems to address the often-complex relationship between Earth’s natural and built environments.
