Latinvex Recognizes Maddie Kadas Among Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers

Washington, DC and Austin, TX – Madeleine B. (Maddie) Kadas, Principal and Chair of Beveridge & Diamond's Latin American practice group, was named as a "Top 100 Female Lawyer" in Latin America by Latinvex.

Ms. Kadas provides legal analyses, risk reduction strategy assessments and compliance counseling on a variety of issues arising under the domestic environmental regulations of most Latin American countries. Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian and French, Ms. Kadas received a post-graduate degree from La Escuela Libre de Derecho School of Law, Mexico's premier law school (one of only a handful of U.S. attorneys to have done so), where she wrote and defended a thesis on Mexico's hazardous waste and remediation standards.  From 1988-1990, she served in the United States Peace Corps in Guatemala.

Latinvex refers to Beveridge & Diamond’s Latin American practice as "one of the key Latin American environmental law practices in the United States.” The criteria for selection included recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters.
