Her background includes drafting environmental policy memoranda, and conducting field observations of infrastructure and solid waste management systems. She is skilled in working with large datasets, creating figures and visual aids, and synthesizing content from news outlets in English, Hindi, and Telugu.

At Wellesley College, Shruti majored in Environmental Studies and Psychology and she interned at the Wilson Center’s Asia Program, the Wellesley College Office of Sustainability, and Environment Support Group. Her interests include climate justice, political ecology, and global environmental conflict and resolutions. She originates from Hyderabad, India, and has lived in several countries across Asia.
