Tim Pohle to Speak and Co-Moderate Panel on Aviation Decarbonization at ABA-Georgia Tech Event
Of Counsel Timothy Pohle (Washington, DC) will co-lead "Bridging Technology, Law, and Policy in Aviation Sustainability," together with Dimitri Mavris, (Boeing Professor of Advanced Aerospace Systems Analysis; Director, Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory, Georgia Tech.) The event will bring together leaders from the legal and aerospace communities to examine the innovations driving aviation decarbonization and the legal, regulatory, and policy frameworks needed to advance them.
The program will open with presentations from Tim, "Overview of Aviation’s Path to Net-Zero," and Professor Mavris, "Advancing Technical Innovation Through a Systems of Systems Approach and the Central Role of Policy.”
Tim and Professor Mavris will then co-moderate an expert panel. Daniel Matisoff (Professor and Director, Master of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management Program, Georgia Tech), Jeffrey Page (Environmental & Sustainability Attorney, FedEx Corporation), Sangita Sharma (Director, Delta Sustainable Skies Lab, Delta Air Lines), and Kevin Welsh (Vice President, Environmental Affairs and CSO, Airlines for America) will participate on the panel.
