Brooklyn Hildebrandt Speaking at ELI Master Class on Managing Private Sector Environmental Initiatives

Associate Brooklyn Hildebrandt (Washington, DC) will speak at the Environmental Law Institute (ELI)'s Master Class, Managing Private Sector Environmental Initiatives, taking place in Washington, DC on September 6. Featuring legal and policy experts, the program will consider the legal and relationship issues that arise from voluntary, collaborative sustainability initiatives with a focus on the past 30 years of Private Environmental Governance (PEG) experience in the United States.

Brooklyn will speak on the panel "Navigating the Legal Risks of Private Environmental Programs," from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. ET. The panelists will review their experiences with individual company programs; consider the legal risks and opportunities that arise from setting individual company performance and purchasing standards; and discuss managing supply chain expectations, data exchange and privacy, and establishing a program that meets external expectations.
