Spencer Gheen to Moderate Keynote at the Northwest Remediation Conference
Of Counsel Spencer Gheen (Seattle) will moderate the keynote interview, "Challenges and Opportunities: Insights from Ecology Leaders," at the Northwest Remediation Conference, "Cleaning Up & Re-Using Contaminated Properties." The conference is co-presented by the Northwest Environmental Business Council and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
Kim Wooten (NWRO Section Manager, Washington State Department of Ecology) and Michael Feldcamp (Senior Policy Analyst, Washington Department of Ecology) will join Spencer on the panel. The speakers will address topics impacting Washington's environmental landscape, including the implementation of the MTCA Phase 1 rule, tribal engagement, and DCA guidance. They will also discuss the implications of hiring freezes, travel restrictions, and contract freezes, and how these are affecting the work of the Toxics Cleanup Program.
