Chambers USA Names B&D the 2026 Environment Firm of the Year

At its 2026 Awards, Chambers USA selected B&D as Environment Firm of the Year for 2026.

The awards recognize a law firm’s “excellence in legal practice, innovation and sustained performance at the highest level.” This is the first time B&D has received this recognition. B&D has been a Chambers-ranked firm for 18 consecutive years.

Earlier this month, Chambers ranked B&D as a leading environmental practice in every state where B&D has an office, and where Chambers produces environmental practice rankings. B&D's New York office was listed as Band 1 for the first time this year, and the Texas office also advanced a Band. Our California, Massachusetts, Washington, and Washington, DC offices maintained their rankings as leading environmental practices. B&D also maintained its national Tier 1 ranking.
