Principal Paul Hagen (Washington, DC) will give the keynote address, "Charting a Path to Circularity for Lithium-ion Batteries – The New Legal Landscape," at the 2025 International Congress for Battery Recycling (ICBR) conference on September 10. He will discuss how changing legal requirements at the global level under the Basel Convention, within the European Union and in various countries will reshape trade flows and the circular economy for lithium-ion and other batteries.
