B&D Sponsoring, Speaking at DRI's 2019 Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Seminar

Beveridge & Diamond is proud to sponsor the Defense Research Insitute's Annual Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Conference, taking place in New Orleans, LA, from March 14 to 15. The conference brings forward the latest science and regulatory developments for both litigators and counselors to learn the new hits and old standards.

Principal Eric Klein (Boston) will speak in a presentation titled "Convincing the Millennial Juror," which will take place on March 14 from 11:10am to 12:00pm (CDT). His presentation will discuss how to reach millennial jurors in voir dire and trial, explaining this demographic and how to persuade jurors who expect advocacy to come through visuals, technology, and new oratory.

Eric is an environmental litigator in B&D's Boston office, with a national practice representing major companies and municipalities in a wide variety of matters including environmental and mass torts, class actions, and federal citizen suits under environmental statutes including the Clean Water Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and the Clean Air Act. He has handled cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States, litigating complex civil and commercial matters before juries, trial and appellate courts, arbitrators and administrative tribunals. Eric’s litigation practice encompasses a broad range of environmental matters, including the prosecution and defense of groundwater and site contamination cases, PCB cost allocations, environmental white-collar defense and internal investigations, and data compensation under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. He specializes in challenging and defending technical experts in complex environmental litigation.
