Associate Erika Spanton (Seattle) will speak at the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation's 1st Annual Petroleum Marketing Attorneys' Meeting, taking place in Houston, TX, from October 25 to 26. Speakers at the meeting, formerly an American Bar Association conference, will provide updates and discuss recent developments under the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act, federal antitrust laws, and other applicable statutes. They will explore novel new climate change claims, address recent commercial litigation issues, and discuss site branding and multi-branding, retail pricing, and other important developments that affect refiners, wholesalers, and retailers.
Erika will present in a panel titled "Recent Developments in Climate Change Litigation," which will take place on October 26 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm (CDT). Her presentation will provide an overview of recent claims and cases against fossil fuels industries and related cases, explain the legal theories and issues involved, and provide the latest developments.
