Nicole Weinstein Presenting Strafford Webinar on Zombie Corporations and CERCLA Liability

Principal Nicole Weinstein (New York) will present a Strafford Publications webinar titled “Zombie Corporations and CERCLA Liability: Identifying, Reviving, and Pursuing Zombie PRPs.” The program will take place from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. (EDT) on October 31.

The panel will explore best practices for identifying, reviving, and pursuing defunct or "zombie" corporations and their insurance assets as a source of funding cleanup of contamination sites. The program will discuss what to do after identifying zombie candidates, claims evaluation due diligence, litigation trends in these PRP and insurance cost recovery cases, the states where these claims are more likely to succeed, and how to manage and overcome some impediments to successful recoveries.

CLE Credit will be available in some jurisdictions.
