Roy Prather Moderating Water Enforcement Panel During ABA SEER's National Environmental Enforcement Conference

B&D Principal Roy Prather (Baltimore) will moderate the panel "Developments in Water Enforcement" during the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (ABA SEER)'s National Environmental Enforcement Conference.

In recent years, the enforcement landscape around water has changed as EPA under various administrations has worked to balance the availability of clean water for human health and the significance of water in our country’s economic development and success. In the enforcement space, the definition of a “water of the US” and EPA’s jurisdictional power remain critical questions, particularly in light of recent court decisions that include Pascua Yaqui Tribe v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This panel will explore these questions along with some of EPA’s emerging water enforcement priorities, and what those priorities mean for industry and individuals alike.
