Biography

Georgia advises clients on environmental and natural resources matters, drawing on her experience across EPA, nonprofits, and private practice.

Her experience includes work on issues arising under the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act, and other major federal and local environmental statutes. She has experience conducting extensive document review, identifying key materials for use in defense strategies, and drafting memorandums, motions, and briefs. Georgia has worked on environmental disputes and administrative matters, property and zoning law issues, commercial contract negotiations, and government contract bid protests.

Before joining B&D, Georgia worked as an Associate for a small firm focused on Alaskan issues, including those pertaining to oil and gas. While pursuing her J.D., Georgia clerked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Civil Enforcement in the Air Enforcement Division, where she contributed to CAA enforcement measures and consent decree negotiations. She also worked with the Environmental Integrity Project, an environmental legal nonprofit, where she supported litigation strategy under key federal environmental statutes.
