They will discuss federal laws related to wetlands regulation and permitting, such as the Federal Clean Water Act, the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899, the Endangered Species Act, and the 1985 Farm Bill’s “Swampbuster” provisions, as well as the roles of federal agencies in implementing and enforcing these laws, and the regulations and protections for wetlands.
