Stacey Sublett Halliday & Jessalee Landfried Named 2022 Law360 Rising Stars for Environmental and Compliance

Law360’s Top Attorneys Under 40 for 2022 include Washington, DC Principals Stacey Sublett Halliday for Environmental and Jessalee Landfried for Compliance.

After reviewing nearly 1,350 submissions, Law360 chose the 176 lawyers from 96 law firms and 36 practice areas. Jessalee and Stacey were “selected based on their career accomplishments in their respective disciplines.”

Stacey is a co-chair of B&D’s Environmental Justice (EJ) practice and Chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She advises clients on environmental compliance due diligence, environmental enforcement, green marketing, ESG reporting, product stewardship, and environmental justice. She regularly works with Fortune 500 companies to develop comprehensive, company-wide environmental justice assessments, policies, programs, and implementation frameworks. Stacey writes and speaks on behalf of the firm regarding ESG disclosures, sustainability, and environmental justice issues. She previously served as Special Counsel in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Office of General Counsel.

Jessalee advises multinational clients in developing and implementing environmental, health and safety compliance management systems. She has worked closely with Fortune 50 tech clients on managing COVID-19 compliance on a global scale, and she has particular expertise in Clean Air Act requirements, workplace safety, and white collar enforcement. She has played a significant role in several Department of Justice-appointed monitorship teams, overseeing corporations’ compliance with criminal and civil settlements following environmental violations.
