At the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington’s (LBAW) 33^rd annual gala on March 7, LBAW presented Beveridge & Diamond (B&D) with its Community Service Award. The award is given to an organization that has advanced LBAW’s values of equality, fairness, and integrity of the justice system. In its announcement, LBAW wrote that through its partnership with B&D, the firm “has supported our legal clinics, client consultations, and volunteer resources, helping expand access to legal services for our community.”

For several years, under the leadership of Associate Jesse Miles (Seattle), B&D has engaged both attorneys and professional staff in our Seattle office in partnering with LBAW.

Pro Bono work is a top priority at B&D. More than half of all B&D attorneys participate in the firm’s pro bono efforts. The firm undertakes a variety of pro bono work, such as amicus briefs on racial justice and the rule of law, immigration and refugee support, landlord-tenant issues, and criminal clemency cases.
