Lauren Hopkins and Hana Vizcarra Recognized by Leadership Council on Legal Diversity for 2017

Principal Lauren Hopkins (San Francisco) has been selected to participate in the 2017 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program. Inaugurated in 2011, the LCLD’s Fellows Program is an ambitious, highly-structured mentoring program that is designed to increase diversity at the leadership level of the nation’s law firms and corporate legal departments.

Associate Hana Vizcarra (Washington, DC) has been selected as a member of the 2017 class of Pathfinders, a program founded by the LCLD in 2015 to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including programming on leadership and network development. According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants “intensive in-person training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows in small group gatherings." He further noted, “we believe it’s a program that can help catapult a person’s career forward.”

Beveridge & Diamond is a founding member of LCLD, a growing organization of corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession, and has sponsored a firm lawyer’s participation in the LCLD Fellows and Pathfinder Programs every year since their inception.
