John Guttmann Appointed Advisory Council Liaison for DRI’s Center for Law and Public Policy

DRI, the Association of Lawyers Defending Business, has appointed Principal John Guttmann (Washington, DC) as liaison between DRI’s Center for Law and Public Policy (the Center) and its Corporate Advisory Council, which is made up primarily of in-house corporate attorneys.

In this role, John will work closely with corporate counsel to help shape the Center’s strategic priorities and strengthen the defense bar. This collaboration will help ensure that the perspectives and challenges facing industry are reflected in the Center’s efforts to advance the interests of the civil defense community.

John recently completed his term as Chair of the Center. He previously served as a DRI National Director and Chair of its Toxic Torts and Environmental Law Committee (TTEL).

DRI also recently appointed Principal Roy Prather (Baltimore), the current Chair of TTEL, as a National Director.
