Waste360 selected Principal Megan Morgan (Baltimore) for its 2025 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes industry leaders who have made major contributions through excellence in waste, recycling, food waste, and organics. The winners are professionals and policymakers across every facet of the industry, including haulers, municipalities, composters, recyclers, and product suppliers.
Marc Acampora, Market Leader at Waste360, said, “Cheers to the 2025 Waste360 40 Under 40 honorees! This year’s nominations showcased an extraordinary level of leadership and talent driving the future of our industry. These rising stars are redefining what’s possible in waste and recycling, creating solutions that shape the way we live and work. We look forward to celebrating their incredible achievements and honoring their impact at WasteExpo.”
Megan is a litigator and counselor who leads large teams on B&D’s largest and most critical environmental cases. Megan has an intricate knowledge of landfills and other solid waste facilities. She represents clients in court and before agencies across the country on major landfill permits, enforcement actions, mass tort and class actions, and citizen suits. Her multidisciplinary background—including an MBA—enables Megan’s ability to find business-forward paths. She also co-chairs B&D’s ESG, Sustainability practice, leading the firm’s strategic thinking on this rapidly developing subject matter.
"Beveridge & Diamond congratulates Megan on this important and well-deserved recognition," said Firm Chair Kathy Szmuszkovicz. "Megan’s work on some of the most challenging and complex environmental matters in the country is remarkable. She is a demonstrated leader in the waste and recycling industry and our firm, and we are very proud of her achievements and this recognition.”
Waste360 will honor the 2025 awardees in May at WasteExpo, North America’s largest solid waste, recycling, organics, food waste recovery, and sustainability event in Las Vegas.
