Vetone Ivezaj Appointed Co-Chair of New York City Bar Association Environmental Law Committee
The New York City Bar Association recently appointed Senior Associate Vetone Ivezaj (New York) as co-chair of its Environmental Law Committee. The Committee examines current legal and policy issues affecting New York City’s environment and natural resources and the implications of those issues at the city, state, and even national level, serving as a forum for discussion among practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Among other responsibilities as Co-Chair, Vetone will organize committee meetings, inviting leaders in their respective practice areas to address the most salient issues affecting New York City, as well as coordinate educational and social events open to members of the Bar and the public, and prepare reports on developments in environmental law and policy.
Vetone previously served as Secretary of the Environmental Law Committee. At B&D, her practice focuses on complex commercial and environmental litigation, including class and mass actions, such as those targeting facilities for negligence and nuisance claims based on alleged community impacts on air and property.
