Biography

With an interest in international environmental law, Ragini’s practice spans complex litigation and regulatory counseling.

She works with teams litigating matters under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Endangered Species Act, as well as environmental tort claims. Ragini advises clients on matters related to climate change, including emissions reporting and low-carbon fuels. She also counsels tech sector clients on various aspects of their operations, including international product safety regulations and data center project development.

Ragini joined B&D after working as a Stanford Law School Public Interest Fellow with ClientEarth, North America. In this role, she researched legal issues related to climate risk management and disclosures, the energy transition in the Asia-Pacific region, and environmental aspects of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Before receiving her LL.M., Ragini practiced at an Indian law firm, representing clients in a range of commercial disputes. She also clerked for a judge on the Delhi High Court, where she gained insight into judicial processes and complex litigation.

Ragini is fluent in Hindi and English. She actively seeks out volunteer opportunities and enjoys theater, music, and dabbling in foreign languages.
