Biography

Rebecca is experienced in all aspects of discovery, including preparing and answering interrogations and preparing witness lists.

She knows how to work up cases from the investigation process until a settlement has been reached. She completes legal writing tasks such as writing and editing motions to compel, pre-hearing statements of proof, motions to show cause, and motions to dismiss. She also writes case evaluation summaries and facilitation summaries. 

Having been responsible for over 100 cases in various stages of litigation, Rebecca is experienced in assisting with trial preparation, including organizing mock trials and preparing exhibits for trial. She has also frequently acted as the main liaison between experts and attorneys. Prior to joining B&D, Rebecca worked as a State Farm Corporate Legal Counsel for a Seattle-based law firm and as a paralegal for several other law firms. While completing her paralegal certification, she worked in an internship under Hon. Michael Warren in the Oakland Circuit Court.
