Biography

Rob supports clients in environmental and commercial litigation, including class action defense.

Rob assists with commercial class action lawsuits, conducting legal research, preparing litigation memoranda, and reviewing documents. He is drawn to environmental law for its intersection of litigation, regulatory compliance, business considerations, and emerging green technologies.

Before joining the firm, Rob worked with Duke University School of Law’s Environmental Law and Policy Clinic, where he researched environmental rulemaking issues involving pollution from commercial activities and helped develop recommendations addressing community concerns.

Rob's interest in environmental law also reflects his experience researching international climate policy and emerging environmental issues. As a research assistant, he examined carbon emissions trading systems in the European Union, Kazakhstan, and Japan. He also led pro bono research teams examining carbon markets, climate migration, and legal protections for climate refugees through Duke Law's Human Rights Pro Bono Program.
