Biography
Sarah leverages her in-house and private practice experience to guide global companies on product compliance and sustainability risks.
Sarah advises clients on issues across the product lifecycle to enable new launches and global expansion, including product design, manufacturing, and distribution; supply chain due diligence; mandatory reporting; and end-of-life disposition. She also advocates regulators to mitigate product sustainability and compliance risks for clients around the world. Sarah has particular insights into these issues as they relate to technology companies, electronics manufacturers, data centers, and retailers.
Sarah’s litigation experience includes representing clients in judicial and administrative cases involving environmental laws, hazardous waste enforcement, and emerging contaminants. She has managed all aspects of case preparation, from working with expert witnesses to drafting appellate briefs. Her technical background enables her to approach legal and regulatory challenges with a unique, multidisciplinary perspective.
Prior to joining B&D, Sarah served as corporate counsel for a large technology company, where she was a key member of their Infrastructure Regulatory Risk Management and Compliance Legal team. While in this role, Sarah worked closely with compliance, business, and public policy partners to facilitate innovative product launches, drive cross-team compliance initiatives, and develop playbooks, trainings, and policies that enabled compliance at scale.
