Biography
Amy leads B&D’s talent strategy, enhancing recruitment, retention, and professional development to drive the firm’s strategic growth and strengthen client service.
As Chief Talent Officer, Amy aligns the firm's talent and human resources strategies with business objectives, focusing on attorney and staff integration, professional growth, and organizational resilience. She oversees educational, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives that support B&D's culture of excellence and innovation in environmental law and litigation.
Amy’s leadership experience includes senior roles at Morrison Foerster, the National Attorneys General Training & Research Institute, and American University Washington College of Law. Earlier in her career, she practiced law as a partner at Jenner & Block LLP and clerked for federal judges in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
A recognized advocate for inclusive excellence, Amy champions initiatives that enrich the employee experience and foster a collaborative, dynamic workplace.
Outside of her professional role, Amy co-created and co-hosts the Webby People’s Voice Award-winning podcast "History Ignited," which brings history to life for children through Billy Joel’s iconic song "We Didn’t Start the Fire."
