Parker Moore, Peter Selimos, to Speak, Moderate Panel on WOTUS for DC Bar’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Community
Associate Peter Selimos (Washington, DC) will moderate a panel discussion on the recent notice of proposed rulemaking announced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The agencies propose a new definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS), which dictates the extent to which water is regulated by the Clean Water Act. The panel, "Drawing the Line: Stakeholders Discuss the Proposed WOTUS Rule," will explore whether the proposed definition accomplishes the agencies’ stated goal of aligning WOTUS with the Supreme Court’s Sackett decision and examine key issues likely to shape the future of WOTUS jurisprudence and policy.
Principal Parker Moore (Washington, DC), Gregor MacGregor (Professor at the University of Colorado Law School), and Mark Sabath (Senior Attorney at the Southern Environmental Law Center) will speak on the panel.
This event is free for members of the DC Bar and co-sponsored by the DC Bar’s Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Community. If you are interested in attending, register here. For more information on EENR, please visit EENR's page on the DC Bar’s website.
