Allyn Stern, Sharon Mathew to Speak on Greenwashing for ACC San Francisco Bay Area

Office Managing Principal Allyn Stern (Seattle) and Associate Sharon Mathew (San Francisco) will speak on a panel, "Avoiding Greenwashing: How to Frame Your Green Marketing Claim," during the Association of Corporate Counsel San Francisco Bay Area (ACC SFBA)'s 2025 Race to the Finish virtual CLE event. Erin Ickes (Senior Director of Legal – In-House Counsel, American Textile Co.) and Molly Stark (General Counsel & Secretary, Rainforest Alliance, Inc.) will join Allyn and Sharon on the panel. The speakers will discuss how to notice examples of greenwashing, evaluate sustainability claims in advertising, and avoid common pitfalls when formulating marketing claims.
