B&D's EPR work extends to other covered products, including pharmaceuticals and medical sharps, carpets, paints, textiles, and tires. Representative examples of this work include:  

• Counseling the carpet manufacturing industry on compliance with California carpet takeback requirements, including assisting with plan submissions and compliance and analyzing the impacts of legislative and regulatory changes on the existing takeback program.
• Tracking the development of EPR legislation in Latin America, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region for a group of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.
• Performing a worldwide review of pharmaceutical, medical sharps, and general packaging EPR regulations and analyzing their applicability to pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers’ product lines.
