Anthony Papetti Named 2026 MCCA Rising Star

Beveridge & Diamond (B&D) proudly announces that the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) selected Principal Anthony Papetti (New York) as one of the 2026 recipients of its Rising Star Award. The annual award recognizes “stellar attorneys whose accomplishments and dedication to the legal profession and to their community place them among those ‘attorneys to watch.’”

Anthony advises clients on complex environmental litigation and product regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on the automotive and mobile source industries. He counsels global manufacturers on regulatory compliance, represents clients in environmental litigation, and worked extensively on the U.S. Department of Justice-appointed Independent Compliance Monitorship and Auditor matter arising from Volkswagen's diesel emissions proceedings.

Anthony also plays an active role in advancing the firm's commitment to an inclusive and supportive workplace. He has co-led B&D's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee since 2019, including as co-chair since 2024, and participated in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's Pathfinder and Fellows programs.

Beyond his work at the firm, Anthony maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing LGBTQ+ individuals seeking asylum in the U.S. after fleeing persecution.
