Latinvex Names Maddie Boyer a Top Female Lawyer for 2017
Principal Maddie Boyer (Austin) was named a "Top Female Lawyer" in Latin America for 2017 by Latinvex. Maddie was also recognized among Latin America's "Top 100 Lawyers" earlier in 2017. This marks the fourth consecutive year Maddie, founder of the firm's Latin America practice group, has been recognized by Latinvex.
Maddie provides legal analyses, strategic assessments and compliance counseling on a variety of issues arising under the domestic environmental, health and safety regulations of most Latin American countries. Fluent in Spanish, Maddie received a post-graduate degree from La Escuela Libre de Derecho School of Law, Mexico's premier law school, where she wrote and defended a thesis on Mexico's hazardous waste and remediation standards. From 1988-1990, she served in the United States Peace Corps in Guatemala.
